Alf's pilgrimage begins

The start and then a little way into the walk

On Saturday 30th April many supporters from the Bangor & Holyhead Methodist Circuit attended a service in Maenan Abbey to mark the beginning of a pilgrimage by Rev Alf Williams (Superintent Minister) which is an integral part of his sabbattical.   The walk from Maenan Abbey to Conwy was completed with some steep hills to climb.   Several brave hearted individuals and their dogs climbed up to Cadair Ifan Goch to appreciate some fantastic views.   The party had climbed some 364 feet.

Now that Alf has made a start to what is also a fundraising effort let's wish him well as he goes along.   You can do this by sending a comment to this blog, or emailing me on keith@alexander54.freeserve.co.uk or to really make a difference, making a donation using the link in the previous posting.

God bless you, Alf, and stay safe all through!
