Alf's message:
Started very early to avoid the bad weather, as it happened no rain and by the afternoon it was very warm. Thought that I had finished with the hills but this stage was especially hard. However, Abbeycwmhir was great, lovely reception by members of St. Mary's Church. They leave refreshments for the walkers and visitors. No problem with the muscles but feet are getting a bit sore, but no blisters. Mary seems to be gathering lots of free literature from information centres. She is being very patient in waiting for me.
Day off tomorrow, Sarah and Casi are visiting. Start off early on Sunday from Llandrindod Wells to Hay on Wye.
This morning I was telling people at Prayer Fellowship that you were now walking on level ground. How wrong I was! No stopping at the bookshops in Hay on Wye on Sunday! Bless you, Alf.
