Easier walk today from Monmouth to Tintern (10 miles) so walked on to Newchurch to cut down tomorrow's walk as knee is playing up a bit.
Met yet more people doing the Land's End to John a Groats Walk. Must be something in the water. Met a party of nuns and priests from Germany with a school party. Good chat.
Weather good, hot and sunny at times. Looks like heavy rain overnight.
Caerleon and Llantarnam Abbey Tomorrow.
The 10 miles to Tintern must have been like a "walk in the park" after the distances completed so far. Well done and congratulations on the photos. Tintern Abbey is a wonderful sight. Once had a fantastic ploughman's lunch at the local pub there!
